Free Consultation

• Our consultations are free and without obligation
• Personalized wedding ceremony planning booklet
• We'll meet at a Tully's or Starbucks convenient to you

Weddings

• You select the ceremony elements you wish!
• Unusual locations are our specialty
• We'll talk about how you met so I can include a short history in your ceremony if you wish 
• I'll file your marriage certificate promptly with the appropriate county agency
• Premium option includes rehearsals at a separate time
• Additional "captive hours" fee over two hours at scene (such as cruises)

Elopements

• Small, informal gatherings (fewer than 10 persons)
• Often available on short notice
• Special pricing for active duty military and for ceremonies at my home (inquire)
• We can provide one or two witnesses (two required) if you have no guests

Anniversaries and Vow Renewals

• Living rooms and party locations
• Meaningful memories

The "Well Rehearsed" Package
Starting at $300 for weekday weddings
    Includes up to three in-person planning sessions and limitless phone calls and e-mails
    Coordination with your wedding planner, venue, entertainment and others
    Rehearsal, as available, on a separate day from the wedding
    Expert officiating of your wedding ceremony at any location
    No mileage charge within King or Snohomish counties ($2/mile beyond King or Snohomish border)
    Prompt filing of completed marriage certificate
    Photo gallery on our website (optional)
    

   

The "Just the Ceremony" Package
Starting at $200 for weekday weddings
    Includes up to two in-person planning sessions and limitless phone calls and e-mails
    Expert officiating of your wedding ceremony at any location
    No mileage charge within King, Snohomish, Skagit, Pierce or Thurston counties (small travel fee elsewhere)
    Prompt filing of completed marriage certificate
    Photo gallery on our website (optional)
    Brief walk-through within 60 minutes of start of ceremony

    

No Travel Fees for the Well Rehearsed and Just the Ceremony packages within Skagit, Snohomish, King, Pierce or Thurston Counties.
    Available throughout all other Washington counties; a fee may apply.

The "Git R Done" or Intimate Gathering Package
Small ceremonies & elopements, starting at $120.    Available on short notice (fewer than ten days) only, paid at the time of booking
    No in-person planning session included (phone and e-mail only)
    Expert officiating of your small ceremony (10 maximum) at your location.    Additional fee for Chaplain Dale to provide witnesses (two required)
    Prompt filing of completed marriage certificate
    Photo gallery for up to ten pictures on our website (optional)

Other options:

• A $100 non-refundable scheduling deposit applies to the Well Rehearsed and Just the Ceremony packages.  This is due at the time of booking and can be paid by PayPal, cash or check.  This amount applies to the total honorarium.  For example, when a weekend "Just the Ceremony" is scheduled, a $100 deposit holds the ceremony on Chaplain Dale's calendar.  The remaining $275 is due at the time of the ceremony.
• Discounts on early payment on the Well Rehearsed and Just the Ceremony packages:
  • $25.00 discount if total honorarium is paid 30 days in advance, or
  • $75.00 discount if the total amount is paid at the time of booking
• There is no travel fee for the Well Rehearsed and Just the Ceremony packages within the counties of King, Snohomish, Skagit, Pierce or Thurston.  A travel fee exists for other counties per the following schedule (ferry, tolls and lodging, where required, additional):
  • Surcharge for Zone 2 counties is $80
  • Surcharge for Zone 3 counties is $105
  • Surcharge for Zone 4 counties is $155
  • Surcharge for Zone 5 counties is $220
  • Surcharge for Zone 6 counties is $250
• Payment of the full amount is due at the time of booking for the Intimate Gathering package. Ferry fares, bridge tolls, admission fees, lodging and parking for up to two persons are the responsibility of the couple.
• Couple must provide a valid marriage license and any remaining balance due at the time of Chaplain Dale's arrival at the wedding.
• A 15% Preferred Venue discount is available for the Well Rehearsed and Just the Ceremony packages for the following venues:  Green Gates, South Sound Manor, Zahn Event Center, member venues of the Snohomish Wedding Guild and the Greater Bothell Chamber, the Governor Hotel, Comfort Inn Tumwater, Anderson Island Community Church, Golden Gardens, Pickering Barn, Willows Lodge, the Enzian, and the Salish Lodge.
